We are living in a culture that demands immediate answers. And it seems this phenomenon applies perhaps also to the modern Evangelical church. Our tendency is to try and put God into a box. We’ve created these systems of theology, and they seem to explain everything, right? We have an answer for this and that. It feels like nothing is outside our ability to give an answer. It can be remembered back several years ago, while working in a newsroom, the boss would actually give the speaker trouble for answering questions with the phrase, “I don’t know.”Continue reading message...
