  While walking the garden at Monticello one blue-skied Spring afternoon, the thought came to mind, “The God of the Universe has made himself known.” Indeed, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello is such a beautiful place. Its flowering and fruit-filled garden is vast, and extends narrowly from forward the house to far back behind it, on the left side, looking from the East Front.   Hebrews chapter 8, beginning in verse 1: “Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a high priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, a minister in the holy places, in the true tent that the Lord set up, not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; thus it is necessary for this priest also to have something to offer.
